Johnny and Brittany. . . Beautiful Fall Wedding

Being a wedding photographer is like being a "fly on the wall" during the most special moments on a couple's wedding day. It is just a privilege to stand back and document the day from start to finish. . . getting ready, the first look, the ceremony, the reception. I love it. I also love it when the couple is as easy going as these two were. =)

When Johnny asked Brittany to marry him, he was not only gaining a beautiful wife, but a beautiful little girl as well. Averie is 2 and it's clear she stole Johnny's heart every bit as much as her mom did. Johnny and Averie have the sweetest relationship and that was so much fun to watch on the wedding day. Honestly, there were multiple times I wanted to cry watching the two of them together.

Brittany wanted the majority of her pictures to be somewhat "candid." It was easy to do, because their families and this couple just enjoy one another. It made my job easy.  Enjoy some pictures of this sweet couple on the day they became husband and wife . . .

I have to say that the kids in this wedding were the cutest. Especially the little guy on the left....spilled on his shirt before the ceremony, but I loved the vest alone. Especially the way he walked down the aisle....future offensive lineman for sure!

Some of the details...

They had cutest "fishing" theme for the reception

Brittany made her broach bouquet...it was stunning.

Reception time...

The food was unbelievable.
Simply cannot speak highly enough about this catering team.

This seriously makes me hungry just looking at these potatoes again =)

Back to the important stuff...

Some of my favorite reception shots....these are priceless.

Okay, so I need to explain this next picture... When Brittany and her dad went on the dance
floor to do their "Father Daughter Dance," Johnny brought Averie out there to dance with him (pic above) and needless to say it was a tear-jerker.  I'm so thankful my husband snapped this next picture... it's just the best!

 Mother Son Dance

Cheesecake with Huckleberry sauce....oh yeah, I'll take one now....it was amazing.

Brittany and Johnny- Congratulations on the beginning of your new life together. I am so happy for you and it genuinely was a privilege to work with you guys. You two were made for each other-- that much is true. Enjoy a lifetime of making each other smile!
